Actress Hilary Swank sent a statement this morning that she "deeply regrets" attending a birthday party concert for Chechen leader, and alleged human rights violator Ramzan Kadyrov. "If I had a full understanding of what this event was apparently intended to be, I would never have gone," said Swank in the statement. The statement makes no mention of whether Swank or actor Jean Claude Van Damme, who also attended, were paid to grace the party with their presence at the event.  My guess is ...

Mel Gibson appears to be his own worst enemy.  His newest PR nightmare in the making?  Judah Maccabee.
