Crisis for GOP: Republicans would rather lose White House than the heart and soul of the Party

»Posted by on May 11 2016

If you're confused about what is going on right now with the Republican primary and prominent leadership like Speaker of the House Paul Ryan refusing to support Donald Trump, here's my analysis. Donald Trump may call himself a Republican, but the Republican Party leadership see him as an independent or a renegade. If that is true, then he is not, by definition, a true Republican. Being a true Republican, in the mind of Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, former GOP nominee Mitt Romney, Sen. L...

»Posted by on Jul 08 2014

If you don't live in Florida then you may not be aware that it's quite a contest going on in the race for governor. Gov. Rick Scott, Republican, is running for a second term against Charlie Crist, a Democrat who used to be a Republican and is the former governor. Yep, it's an interesting race. Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford: A lesson of what not to do in crisis public relations

»Posted by on Nov 15 2013

Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford seems to be doing a lot of apologizing. Every day brings another apology. The apologies usually punctuate a rant at City Hall where he declares his innocence and suggests the he is the victim and the world keeps attacking him. Let's be honest: He's acting like someone who's using and abusing. Now t...

Fox News Channel backpedals on news story that resembles GOP propaganda

»Posted by on Jun 04 2012

The video, if you've seen it, is rather stunning. Fox News Channel on its morning show "Fox & Friends" aired a four minute story that almost everyone agrees could have been a story produced by the Republican National Committee. It is so blatantly one-sided, complete with the election drama music and it certainly makes President Obama look bad. There is zero attempt within this video to be fair. It is clearly Republican. It centers around President Obama's slogan "Hope and Change" fr...

The rush to bash Rush Limbaugh and what the right’s radio king needs to do now

»Posted by on Mar 07 2012

I'll give Rush Limbaugh credit for commanding attention. He certainly knows how to dish it. And his missteps make news too. Especially one this big. Last week, Rush Limbaugh attacked law student Sandra Fluke calling her a "slut" and "prostitute" after she advocated that insurance companies cover birth control. Some advertisers have suspended ads from his popular show. And news outlets around the country can't stop talking about it: httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfb9f7yFYgw ...
