About founders Dr. Joseph Ahrens and Daryl Thompson

Thompson and Ahrens crossed paths multiple times, and even worked together, before forming the developer of food supplements and pharmaceuticals. Thompson, president of ATM Metabolics, previously worked at Solution Health Systems in Boca Raton, Fla., serving as senior vice president and director of research. While there, he launched one of GNC’s highest-selling food supplements, the Grapefruit Solution. Before serving as the vice president at ATM Metabolics, Ahrens worked as the director of science and technology at Solution Health Systems and director of scientific research at the Florida Department of Citrus.
