An artist and former Scientologist, Serge Gil, many years ago lost faith in the Church of Scientology and today he is working tirelessly to expose what he describes as the dangers faced by minors in the Church of Scientology.
His parents and siblings are still members of the Church of Scientology. Serge Gil has a deep-rooted history in the church. Trained to be an auditor at the age of 12, his time at Scientology’s “Flag Land Base” in Clearwater, Fla. exposed him to what he says is a dangerous underbelly of the organization and systemic abuses of children. Since leaving Scientology in 2004, he’s been a vocal advocate for children that he believes are still being harmed within the Church of Scientology.
The Agency arranged for his story and his crusade to be exposed on ABC’s 20/20 program.
